In celebration of the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen's Birth, December 16, 1775, join us for a screening of the Oscar-nominated adaptation of Sense and Sensibility. This novel is about the still-single Dashwood sisters and how they cope with men, marriage and money after their father dies. The screenplay (written by star Emma Thompson) was the sole Oscar winner out of seven nominations.
