Mary Nordgulen received a call in November of 2003 alerting her of impending orders for a deployment overseas. Weeks later she learned that her orders were for 545 days to deliver Combat Health Support to conserve the fighting strength of US Forces in the III Corps sector deployed to Iraq.

Lt. Col. Mary Nordgulen, USAF (Ret.), will share her story of the mission in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) II and her experience in multiple branches prior to retirement in the USAF.
