Green River Library
Step into the fascinating world of meteorology and explore the science behind the weather that shapes our daily lives. In this hands-on STEM program, students will dive deep into the study of weather patterns, climate, and the tools meteorologists use to predict the forecast. They'll get the chance to create their very own anemometer to measure wind speed and explore other weather instruments like barometers and thermometers. Students will also learn about the forces behind weather phenomena like storms, clouds, and temperature changes. Through this interactive experiment, they'll uncover how meteorologists gather data and use technology to make predictions. Perfect for curious minds who are eager to explore the mysteries of weather, develop their scientific skills, and use creativity to understand the world around them!
