Renaissance Music on Recorders
Etowah Library
The Amaryllis Quartet is comprised of Arlin Geyer (Swannanoa), Sharen Hafner (Brevard), Carol Martinez (Asheville), and Susan McCann (Hendersonville). The group's many recorders can cover the full range of a vocal choir. Their current program explores musical imitation, from simple rounds to High Renaissance polyphony.
The music will be performed in the main part of the Etowah Library and is suitable for all ages.
This FREE program is made possible with funds provided by the Community Foundation of Henderson County through the Richard J. and Betty A. Scott Estate.
