Pass to Earn a Laptop In-Person

It is near impossible to survive or get ahead without the Internet in our society. If Internet is not available, affordable, or you don’t have a device or the skills to use it, your options are limited. It is impossible to find a job, access telehealth, stay up-to-date on news, to name a few, without the Internet or a device that can access it. That’s why Land of Sky and WestNGN are working to get communities connected.
Pass-to-Earn events are for folks who do not have access to a laptop on a consistent basis and have basic computer skills. These events are completely free. After passing 6 online digital skills quizzes in person, participants will receive a laptop and charger. If a participant doesn't pass, they will be referred to digital skills classes that are happening locally.
