Great Smoky Mountains Vistas: Learning about the national park and surrounding environs In-Person

Join author and photogarpher Tim Barnwell as he discusses the history and formation of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and shows landscape and nature images while telling stories about creating an exciting and unique guidebook, Great Smoky Mountains Vistas.

In the guide, mountain peak identifications and sections about camping, hiking, and picnicking showcase popular destinations such as Max Patch, Cades Cove, and Cataloochee Valley along with more off-the-beaten-path spots that the author has visited over the past 40 years.

This program is presented by the Friends of the Library and is free and open to the public.
