Fall Prevention In-Person
1 in 4 Americans aged 65+ falls each year Falls in adults aged 65+ are the leading cause of head injuries and broken hips. Join Karen Wolfrom, a registered nurse certified in gerontology by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for a presentation on fall prevention.
Wofrom is a member of the Western North Carolina Fall Prevention Coalition, a regional organization of collaborating agencies and caregivers with a common goal of decreasing fall related injuries in WNC.
